We introduce an operational definition of the Berry Phase Rectification Tensor as second-order change polarization a material in response to ideal short pulse electric field. Under time-reversal symmetry this tensor depends exclusively on phases Bloch bands and not their energy dispersions, making it intrinsic property each which contains contributions from both inter-band shift currents intra-band Curvature Dipole. also Solar Vector technologically relevant figure merit for bulk photo-current generation under black-body radiation analogy with classic solar cell model Shockley Queisser. perform first-principles calculations Weyl semimetal TaAs insulator LiAsSe2 features large close peak intensity.
